2016 News Leader Closes - Complete Video Series
In July 2016 the process of shutting the doors of the Similkameen News Leader began. It brought to the end an 18.5 year long service to the community. A video series was launched by owner/publisher George Elliott to share several parts of the behind-the-scenes story leading to the closure.
